How to make everything change in 30 days
thats kind of a clickbait-y title, but trust me the story is good
I thought I was a failure just a month ago. My business wasn’t growing, I literally barely had enough money to cover my rent.
I knew things had to change.
And so I sat down and started scribbling my thoughts.
I took a look at my different life areas.
Finances. Business. Relationships. Health.
I noticed 2 things that were really lacking:
I had focused so much on my business that I had forgotten to make friends in Sweden. I was spending the majority of days completely alone, and it started taking a toll on me.
Also, even though I was working so much, my agency was not generating nearly as much as it should.
But one thing I realized this month is that life moves so fast when you take matters into your own hands.
It really is up to you.
You are going to have to get out of your comfort zone. And it’s hard.
But 30 days ago, I was feeling lonely, in a completely new country.
I was stressing about how I’m going to pay rent.
And now, I’m a couple days away from signing a 10 000€+ project, and I already managed to sign 4 new clients this month.
I have more than 5 friends that I can invite to my birthday party! And it’s just been thirty days.
It’s a pretty big change, and it’s all thanks to these 2 steps I took:
I took an honest inventory of where I was at. I sat down and figured out what aspects of my life I was not happy with.
I set clear goals for me to change that.
My new goal that I will probably be obsessing over is getting to a consistent 10k a month of income by next June.
This motivation, knowing that I have to reach that goal, has drastically improved the traction of the agency, and committing myself to talk to more people secured a friend group I can hang out with.
So, if you feel like you’re not in a good place right now, I want to give you some direct, maybe harsh advice.
You are in control of your thoughts and actions. While you can’t control other people or the outside world, you can control how you react to situations in your life.
You can choose to figure out where you want to improve, and you can choose to set goals and make sure you follow through.
So, for this week, ask yourself what areas of your life could need some more loving, and get started on setting those goals.
