I Just Paid a Guy Younger Than Me 800€

It’s Nooa, and I’m going to be completely honest with you guys here:

My business is not close to making enough money to live off of.

I do have a steady stream of clients, but I’m still relying on platforms like upwork and fiverr.

The projects are too small.

Back in February, I thought I found the fix. A guy I had been working with promised me clients that bring 5000€+.

All I had to do was buy his mentoring program.

For 3000€.

Rationally, it made sense, right?

“With only one client, I will already have made my money back, and then some“.

But welcome to reality. It’s been 8 months and his cold calling approach has sourced me 0 clients and 0€.

Maybe it’s just me and my lacking cold calling skills?

Anyways, back to the actual story.

I had given up on “mentors“ and “online courses“, labelling them all as a scam.

But I’m in a pickle here, guys.

So I hopped on a call with a friend of mine, who does content and storytelling. He convinced me to shell out 800€ for a mastermind where he’ll teach me how to build a personal brand and start getting new clients from it.

I’m giving online mentors/courses/masterminds a second chance, and I just really hope it works out this time.
